Women Leaders Confer on Empowerment, Domestic Violence, Immigration

Three days of presentations, conversations and sharing hosted by Women’s Policy Forum, Hispanic Women’s Network and Fort Worth Sister Cities in April reunited Fort Worth, Texas and Toluca, Mexico women leaders who met initially in October 2015 in Toluca, Mexico. A dozen women from Toluca traveled to Fort Worth for the reunion.

Empowerment, Domestic Violence and Immigration were the designated topics for each of the three half-day sessions. Members and attendees with full registration lunched together each day to network and collaborate on mutual challenges. Guests from Toluca toured the Young Women’s Leadership Academy and SafeHaven in the afternoons.
